Hiding within the darkest month of the year is the most brilliant spark of hope. During each night of Hannukah, a candle is lit, its light meant to encourage the world outside. And over four weeks, Advent candles prepare us to receive the Light of the World. In both of these traditions, we see a shared longing for light to overcome the darkness — A light that continues to get brighter and brighter. This season, we remember our neighbors living on the streets, still waiting for the warmth of a place to call home. We want to thank all of you who have brought your light to this work.
This movement is fueled by the bright light of your humble prayers. Will you offer a prayer of gratitude for the work that has been accomplished this year, and for ongoing provision next year?
Homes have been sponsored in many ways: sometimes it's a church, sometimes a business, sometimes individuals. We have even had a home sponsored by a youth group! Before we can get started, we need to secure funding for the entire home. Here are the homes we need to fund this year. Please click on one to learn more.
It is a great honor to swing a hammer on one of these homes. They are funded by folks just like you, and they will be cherished by folks in desperate need of them. Sign up to help below.
