Supportive Churches partner with existing Sacred Settlements through fundraising, building tiny homes, offering volunteers, and skilled labor for special projects, or forming Supportive Friendships with community neighbors.

Sacred Settlements are planted and sustained by local churches. If you’re part of a nonprofit, coalition, or community organization and would like to see this model take root in your area, the most important step is helping churches explore it.
We’d love to equip you with the right next steps — whether that’s helping to connect you with local pastors, sharing educational resources, joining our monthly webinar for more information, screening our film for community leaders, or hosting a talk from one of our leadership. Tell us about your community and we’ll follow up with ways you can help your local churches move this vision forward.
For interviews, press requests, or background information, please check out our Press Kit to learn more or to fill out a form and someone from our team will respond promptly.
Our approach is deeply rooted in relationship—neighbors are invited into Sacred Settlements through connections that grow over time. One of the best ways to begin that journey is by attending a Community Meal, held regularly at each of our existing Sacred Settlements.
These gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to meet community leaders, share a meal, and begin building the kinds of relationships that are at the heart of our mission. When new Sacred Settlements are established, it's often from these connections that future residents become part of the community from the very beginning.
We’d love to meet you over a meal. You don't have to bring anything. Just come and enjoy the food and fellowship with us.
